Front End Web Development

Moving into the future, Gia has just completed a 10-week part-time Front End Web Development course at General Assembly in Sydney, Australia. The result after 10 weeks' of blood, sweat and almost tears is this fully responsive and mobile friendly website. Which has been all produced in HTML and CSS, with a little jQuery to bring it to life.

Website Assets

These days a lot of Studio work also involves setting up digital assets such as various size webtiles, banner ads and animated gifs etc and also often the layout for the landing page.

This also includes the layout for eDMs for client approval. These assets are then sent off to the Digital Department for coding and making into the final product.

The layouts are all done in Photoshop with many layers so that the Digital team can then split out the copy and images from the artwork.
